How to Play Mahjong Link
The goal is to clear all tiles from the board by matching identical pairs. Unlike traditional Mahjong, you can only match tiles that can be connected by three lines or fewer - either side-by-side, stacked, or with at most two 90-degree turns along the same edge or across gaps. Selected tiles turn orange, and when a valid connection is possible, the game shows the linking path. Each tile features traditional Mahjong imagery (dragons, characters, dots, bamboo) with a helpful red number in the upper-right corner for easier matching. You begin with six hint uses (indicated by rotating star circles around matching pairs), which must be managed carefully across all 12 levels as they're not replenished between stages. Successfully matched pairs add time to the glass timer bar at the bottom-center of the screen and increase your score displayed to the right of the timer.
Game Controls
Mahjong Link features simple and intuitive controls across all devices. On desktop, use your mouse to click on tiles and buttons. On mobile devices, simply tap to select tiles and access hint functions. Be careful about navigating away from the game - returning to the home screen will reset all progress, requiring you to restart from the first level regardless of your current position.
